Ah, this news theme package on CHAN were used from 1995 to 2001. The best IMO. Nice, never heard "The Spanish version" before.

Wowzers. There's even the CHAN mid 90s"Noon" and "Weekend AM/Noon" package here from the same era. Nice find, indeed.

Yep, got them all on a DVD archive.
Save file as? What? Never heard of that.
Just used the 'Audio Out' thing (AKA 'What U Hear' on Creative's SB) Then started recording.
Done.

I've actually heard of the Spanish version, but I've forgotten where in the newscasts... it's been many years ago!
TRENT310: can you rip your DVD into a MP3 and post it up somewhere so we can all download it? Thanks.

I am finding that a lot of times CHAN used a re-worked piece of music for their bumpers (especally from news theme 1) to fit together with their animation (which was also done by a outside company, somewhere in Seattle I believe.) Can't remember the name. Listen to the "Elements".

Also noticed that the "sports" themes within the packages were not used. Seems that WIC (at the time) rejected them.

news_them_04_bed_10
this theme dates all the way back to the September 1994 BCTV News Hour when their "TV For BC" campaign began. The theme was replaced with "re-mixed" elements and themes from Package 1 that continued from September 1995 to August 31, 2001. Just some useless info. This post talks about News Hour (6pm) themes only.

Would THEME 04 BED 03 be the older version of something like THEME 001 BED 07 or BED 09?

Yahoo. I'm in progress of changing my crappy MIDIs on CHTR to these ones which sound much better. CHTR can't find someone who looks like Tony Parsons, though
