...I mean "CTV Edmonton". Does anyone know what it looks like? Is it one of those cookie cutter CTV local sets like at CJOH and CKCO? or something different. Any pics?

I'm not a fan of it. It's a cold looking set, less active looking than the previous set.
At least the old set had TV monitors and the giant plasma behind the anchors, though they didn't really use it much other than show their Skywitness Camera.

Completely aside from the topic, but CityTV Got a new BT look. I'm too lazy to start a new thread.

I like it. but its not complete looking. it needs like a Row of small LCDs on each side. Also Bring back the Plasma Screen in the middle.. then it will look fine
Maybe its just me. or has the lighting improved a lot??

Maybe they can do like CFTO and put a plasma screen between the two anchors... And the logo on the front of the desk... I don't like how it's flat. Maybe they should make the "CTV News" logo a 3-dimensional object instead...

Rather boring looking. Almost looks unfinished, kind of reminds me of the temproary set BCTV used prioir to their new set for Global. Technology is apprently "out" at CTV, good bye monitors and plasmas and lap tops. The news desk looks a little small and cramped also.

It's an ice box alright, but it looks a lot better than either the old CFRN set or the generic set used elsewhere. I never was a fan of CFRN's set. CTV likes small, cramped sets except at CFTO, where they favour large, open concepts. CKCK looks like a group hug sometimes. My favourite sets on CTV affiliates? CFCF and ATV.

A-Channel also got this look, with the appropriate colours. How is BT doing in the ratings in Citytv's cities?

Okay, so borrowed from the Election Gallery is this: Which shows their 'flat' logo on the front of the desk. And some extra things around the set. Technology is apprently "out" at CTV, good bye monitors and plasmas and lap tops. The news desk looks a little small and cramped also. Oh, and the fact that there is one Plasma and one laptop ;D
