All I can say about CP24 in Toronto is... *shudder*. The on-air talent looks like they're live at the PNE with the ear-hook microphones and the bar stools. Who came up with the idea to have a billion different tickers screaming information every two seconds? That screen is too busy.. so many different colors, so much different information... it's crazy. The only thing I liked about it was the traffic cam window and the weather display on the right side... I thought those seemed useful.
Welcome to the world of in-your-face crapcasting. Moses should be ashamed.

CP24's been like that since it launched in 1998, and I find it very difficult to watch. There's too much stuff on the screen; they should do it more like CNN. And that includes actually having a sit-down desk for the anchors in a real studio. Moses is not very well liked in Ontario; there are continuous complaints about the use of "The New" for all of their television stations (other than CITY).

CBC was closed to the public on the two days I had free time -- Friday and Sunday. Didn't go to the CHUM store. Trust me, when the wedding is chock full of Italian, most of your time will be spent on that and that alone.
