Hey, regarding your "weird night" comment on www.freewebs.com/vancouvertv/nowinthenews.htm, it's because all of the top people at BCTV went to the Jack Webster Awards Dinner (http://www.jackwebster.com/). Tony is this year's recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award. I bet that we're going to see come clips of the event on tomorrow's NewHour.

Ok this is weird, I wonder why CTV's on location anchor desk was being used as the presenter's table for the 2003 Jack Webster awards? Go to the website, and look under the 2003 dinner images. weird.

Maybe CTV MC'd last year's event? This year's MC'd by CBC's Ian and Gloria.

Maybe CTV MC'd last year's event? This year's MC'd by CBC's Ian and Gloria. That's true. Bill Good and Pamela Martin did indeed emcee the 2003 Jack Webster Awards.
