CBC Newsworld has once again changed something. The Newsworld hourly updates are now called "CBC News Now", and are about 1 minute long (they used to be 3 or 4 minutes minimum) and have music playing in the background during the whole report. My question is...why is everything called "CBC News" now? The only thing with the name "Newsworld" in it is "Newsworld Today" everything else, is now "CBC News".

Next thing you know, it will be "CBC News: This Evening" instead of The National. Hopefully nobody at the national CBC is reading this.

It is technically called CBC News: The National on their website, I guess it's just referred to as The National conversationally.
I like the new CBC News Now updates. Gets into the show I want to watch quicker, while still giving necessary info. And the opening is neat too.

Hmm, National has a blueish tinge to the opens. Seems like.
