Well According to Canwest Media Sales, Global will have the Molson Indy in Toronto and Montreal simulcast with CBS and NBC! I don't think that NBC or CBS would want to let Global host the show so that means that Global will simulcast the american feed from CBS or NBC.

I had no idea that CBS or NBC had an interest in racing, in particular, the Molson Indy. Why the sudden change?

I had no idea that CBS or NBC had an interest in racing, in particular, the Molson Indy. Why the sudden change? And why would they come to Canada? I thought they only ever came for the PGA Tour events north of the border such as the Bell Canadian Open.

This happened a few years ago. Global produced a pregame show and threw over to the CBS feed.
I personally do not like this at all. It's a Canadian event and should at least have a Canadian produced version.

It's a Canadian event and should at least have a Canadian produced version. I don't like it either. If it happens in Canada, the Canadian networks should produce the coverage. That's where I give CBC some credit, and to a lesser extent, CTV.
