Did someone say that it would be going CH soon?
Finally fixed the TV card (tuner board was loose, still is, but at least connecting) and recorded the entire newscast today. So, now it's gone "red themed" and everything like the main Global network, they use their news reports too (such as "Sleepless in Canada")
The logo titles are a little "unprofessional" in the way that it's just red serif font with a circle around it (i'll post a picture soon)
The Weather graphics are slightly hard to see, unlike the white-over-red background. But, They stand over a moving 3D map with Chromakey, which they don't do back at CITV here.
(Hmm, does anyone have any idea where to host a 577-MB file? (the video's in 780X240 Resolution), the entire collecton used 3/4 of the D/L DVD disc)

Alright, i'll try that.
As a (long-er) sidenote (Yeh, I know i'm late in realizing this) --Recorded Late night news shown every morning from almost every station they have in Canada on Global Prime TV around 15 minute snippet of news. Accidentally found it while flipping channels and then Jill Krop on a BCTV Global NewsHour Final background on Channel 45, in the morning. Interesting. It's called something along the lines of "Coast to Coast Review" or something.

I thought this was done on weekend mornings, I saw this myself some time ago...seems to me they skipped the STV stations though.

From 00:00 to 01:17 is a part of the news. 00:45 to 01:17 is Weather report From 01:18 to 02:57 are advertisements (ya, ya, I didn't have video editing software handy) 02:58 to 03:02 is the SkyWatch Weather title 03:08 is a picture of the Station sign, outside END at 03:15 Yes, I notice this is larger than some Linux installations.

Hmm, I need another place to put the file. Sure, 50webs (where I host my webpages) has unlimited upload/download, but it's only got 50 megabytes. And I don't want to compress everything into a puny 160X120 square that looks mushy.

Why don't you just split it up, say into the opener, and closer, and put caps up of the graphics...just a thought
